We’ll be chatting today with guests Kim Orlando and Deb Heinrich. Kim, the TravelingMom will share with us some great tips and ideas for spring break, road trips and the ins and outs house swapping for a getaway of your dreams. And Deb, prominent local politician and family advocate, will be providing insights on how we parents can stay a savvy step (or two!) ahead of our techno-kids and how we moms really do have the power to make a difference. Deb Heinrich is serving her third term in the Connecticut House of Representatives. She is the Vice Chairman of the Budget Committee and also serves on the Public Health and Education Committees. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Women and Family Life Center in Guilford, the Madison A Better Chance Advisory Board and the Madison Land Conservation Trust. She is a scientist by training with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and she lives in Madison, CT with her husband and two young children. |
